Music School
At Pukinmäki Music School, you’ll get to enjoy making music and develop your skills in the instrument of your choice. Weekly lessons are offered as individual, pair, or small group instruction.
You can choose to study piano, violin, cello, recorder, guitar, bass, drums, or voice. Studies include private instruction, ensemble playing, and music theory. Our teachers are experienced musicians and professional music educators who teach with joy, encouragement, and creativity.
Performing in concerts and matinees is a regular part of the curriculum. One of the special features of our art school is its interdisciplinary approach. In addition to your main instrument, you can choose a secondary instrument or take elective classes in any of the five other art subjects taught at our school. All studies completed at the art schools contribute to your official study credits.
Our music education follows the General Syllabus of Basic Education in the Arts, with 30 weeks of instruction per school year (14 in the autumn term and 16 in the spring). Lessons are 30–45 minutes long, once or twice per week depending on your level.
In addition to weekly lessons, we offer intensive courses, workshops, and holiday camps for all ages.
Lesson times: Monday–Friday between 14:00–21:00 (scheduled directly with your teacher).
