Theatre School
Theatre is a fun and inspiring hobby where everyone can shine, and no competition required! Our theatre classes are open to all children and young people who are interested in developing their self-expression and performance skills.
In our classes, you’ll learn emotional and physical expression, voice work, improvisation, stage performance, and collaboration. Lessons also include theatre visits and the creation of an annual performance. Students can also take part in production studies, where they’ll get hands-on experience with directing, scriptwriting, scenography, sound design or costuming.
A unique feature of our art school is its interdisciplinary approach. In addition to theatre, students can choose elective studies in five other art subjects taught at our school and integrate them into their theatre studies.
If you’re planning to apply to arts-focused upper secondary schools, you can earn hobby points through your theatre studies with us.
Our curriculum follows the Advanced Syllabus of Basic Education in the Arts, with 30 weeks of instruction per school year (14 in the autumn term and 16 in the spring). Depending on your skill level, classes last 60 to 180 minutes. The full advanced syllabus includes 1,300 hours of study: 800 hours of basic studies and 500 hours of advanced studies. One lesson hour equals 45 minutes.
In addition to weekly classes, we offer intensive courses, workshops, and holiday camps for all ages.
